Chocolate and strawberry is one of my faves and I’m loving that you did hi-hats with that combo! They came out so GOOD! I’ve been wanting to watch that show and now I’m thinking it’s gotta happen soon 🙂

Thanks so much, Wendy! Fluffier frostings definitely won’t work unless you chill the piped cookie for a lot longer. A denser buttercream is the answer! Thanks for pinning, too! 🙂

I have yet to watch the Mindy Project, although I do see commercials for it while watching other shows and it looks hilarious. Also these hi hats are soooo cute and a great alternative to normal cookies 🙂

Chocolate covered strawberry flavored adorable cookies! Teachers lounge or kitchen table, these are bound to disappear quickly. I agree, Mir, Julianne is the hightop queen! I have tried to make hightop cupcakes, and it is more difficult than I thought. I think your chilled buttercream would be much more likely to stay “high” than the fluffy recipe I flopped with on my lowtop cupcakes! 😉 There seem to be tons of ways to creatively use cake mix as a shortcut. I am pinning these to a pinterest board I just started for cake mix ideas! 🙂 Happy end of the school year!
