I’m asking this question seriously. Feel free to let me know immediately, if not sooner.

You see, I think there’s something in Oreos. Something addictive, and most definitely illegal. No, smarty pants, not sugar. I’m thinking along the lines of old-school Coca-Cola. You catch my drift?

If not, do some research into the history of that particular beverage. I have no time to explain it now. We’ve moved back to Oreos. Stay with me, people!

Cookies and Cream Pie

I gave my two year-old one of those Oreo snack packs earlier today. I watched as she used her tiny, chubby hands to meticulously separate the two sides of each Oreo, lick the frosting daintily off each half, and then instantly demand another package. And then throw a tantrum when I did not oblige. And then she got to watch me wonder whether I should eat her cookie remains. Daily struggle, I’m afraid.

Cookies and Cream Pie

Anyway, I won today and didn’t eat her disgustingness. But I did decide to make a pie. A cookies and cream pie with a chocolate cookie crust and gooey, pillowy white chocolate filling, all stuffed with Oreos! Damn, I’m good.

Cookies and Cream Pie

Nope, no modesty when it comes to my dessert ideas. And I love this one. It’s completely no-bake and totally special. Memorable. I’ve heard of desserts that have names like “Better than Sex” or “Knock You Naked” or whatever. Yeah, I said whatever! If any dessert deserves a name like that, it’s this sick little addictive puppy!

Cookies and Cream Pie

I made her, and now I have to live with her. She’s ridiculous. And she knows it. And she’s going in the freezer ASAP so I don’t eat all of her right now.

Cookies and Cream Pie

This is one of those make-ya-in-two-seconds pies. Is it good for picnics? Heck yeah. Is it good for a night in bed with your sweetie? Sure, okay. But is it good for a moment in the laundry room while your kid is screaming at you for more Oreos?

Cookies and Cream Pie

Don’t ask silly questions. Make a pie instead!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 package Oreos, divided
  • 1 package Hershey’s cookies and cream drops candy
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350. Spray a pie pan with cooking spray and set aside.

Place half of an Oreo package in a resealable bag. Using a rolling pin or heavy object, crush the cookies until they are crumbs, but not so finely as you would if you were using a food processor.

Mix the crumbled Oreos with the melted butter and sugar. Pat the mixture into the pie pan, working up the sides to form a very thin crust. Bake for 10 minutes.

While the crust is baking, microwave the white chocolate chips and heavy cream for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Stir the mixture until smooth. Take the remaining Oreos and break them into smaller pieces with your hands. Fold most of the Oreos into the white chocolate mixture. Add the Hershey’s cookies and cream drops as well, about 1/2 cup.

Spread the mixture into the pie crust and add more Oreos and cookies and cream drops to the top. Wait a few minutes for everything to cool. Chill the pie for anywhere from three hours to overnight. Serve or store covered in the refrigerator. This pie can also be frozen!
