M & M Cookie Bark
I’m back from sunny Williamsburg, VA, where my husband and I had a mini-vacation without kids. It was magical. If you’ve never been, you need to go! I’ll be sharing some of my favorite parts of the trip over the coming days. But first I have to share something else with you, and I’m excited.
Oh, my goodness. Hold on to your hats. Because I never realized that bark, one of the best treats ever, could be made in cookie form. Guess what? Epiphany time, people!
I was in the grocery store minus my children (wow, am I ever with them?) the other day, which is known in my world as a vacation. It was so lovely. I was wandering up and down aisles, looking at packaging without having to tune out a baby shrieking in my ear or feeling harassed, when I came upon the Brownie Brittle display. Have you seen that stuff? Basically, there are several different flavors of these thin, crispy brownie pieces. Some of them have chocolate chips, others toffee. It doesn’t really matter. The point is, when you bite in, you taste brownie. And I wanted to do the same thing, but with a cookie instead. So cookie bark was born!
Dipped Oreos – well thanks for making Oreos even more addicting and poppable. These are so fun and festive! The cookies, cream, and frosting are the trifecta of a perfect treat!

Ha! Well, we all know that Oreos needed to be more addictive! Sorry! But not. 🙂

Thanks, Manali! I’m always festive around Thanksgiving.
I would’ve loved to have a teacher like you in high school, MIr! I’m sure all of your students love your tasty treats. And I’m loving these pumpkin spice oreos! I loved your version before, and these sound just as good. I’m a sucker for anything with white chocolate, and of course, pumpkin!

I bribe them with sugar, Gayle! Just kidding. Kind of. 🙂
Haha, I was wondering if you were going to use these pumpkin spice oreos in something! I’m not usually a big oreo fan (I know, it is kinda crazy haha) but I think I could really get on board with these ones!

Seriously, it was like the wind blew and they were gone. Too funny, Michele!
Mir, I like these even better than your previous ones… White chocolate is one of my favorites and the little candy pumpkin on top is irresistible! I totally know what you’re saying about teens and food; I have two at home… Yeah for not having to pay bakery prices for something that can easily be made at home!

Thanks, Heather! Teens are scary with food. They eat so much so fast!
Mmmm, dipped oreos are so good. I buy them every time I’m in the States cause they aren’t in Canada. I don’t know why it never occurred to me to just dip some oreos. Maybe that’s a good thing. I don’t need to eat more of those! 🙂

Ha! I’m sorry to hear they don’t have them in Canada. But maybe that is a good thing. At a store called Trader Joe’s here in the US, they sell different flavors very inexpensively at the holidays. So good!
