Other than being really sad that your entertaining stories and amazing recipes won’t be a constant stream in my life – I so understand your decision. I love when I see people respond to the ebb and flow of life in a way that works best for them and their family. I applaud your show of self-compassion…the world needs more of that. I really admire you, Mir! I know what goes into teaching, and I also know how hard it is to keep up with a blog AND a full-time job! It’s a struggle in itself, and that doesn’t even count tending to the kids, husband, housework, and having some time for yourself. I know it’s probably been a struggle to make this decision, but it sounds like your heart is in the right place. And your readers will be here if and when you decide to come back! What’s important is that you are following your passion and your heart. I will miss your delicious recipes, witty writing, and sweet comments, but I know this isn’t goodbye. And yay for pumpkin brookies! Only the best mashup EVER! 🙂
