M & M Cookie Bark
I’m back from sunny Williamsburg, VA, where my husband and I had a mini-vacation without kids. It was magical. If you’ve never been, you need to go! I’ll be sharing some of my favorite parts of the trip over the coming days. But first I have to share something else with you, and I’m excited.
Oh, my goodness. Hold on to your hats. Because I never realized that bark, one of the best treats ever, could be made in cookie form. Guess what? Epiphany time, people!
I was in the grocery store minus my children (wow, am I ever with them?) the other day, which is known in my world as a vacation. It was so lovely. I was wandering up and down aisles, looking at packaging without having to tune out a baby shrieking in my ear or feeling harassed, when I came upon the Brownie Brittle display. Have you seen that stuff? Basically, there are several different flavors of these thin, crispy brownie pieces. Some of them have chocolate chips, others toffee. It doesn’t really matter. The point is, when you bite in, you taste brownie. And I wanted to do the same thing, but with a cookie instead. So cookie bark was born!
such a great idea! these sound awesome, I bet they were delicious!

I like to save money sometimes on something simple, Michele! They were delicious. Addictively so.
I totally agree with you, if I can make something like this at home, there is no need to be overcharged at the store that rhymes with “saliva”. These are perfect and I’m sure very delicious!

Ha! Thanks, Mira. I just think it’s so crazy how much stores charge for things. $4 for a cupcake? Or a piece of chocolate? DIY!
Dipping Oreos in chocolate? As if they were not addictive enough as it is. I love it!

I like to make things more addictive, Dannii! Upping the ante is fun!
I’m totally with you on spending money for things that are well worth it! And these oreos look like the best thing ever, Mir! I could seriously eat a few of these babies for breakfast! Such a fun and easy treat! And yes, this would be perfect to give away as holiday gifts, too! I see some white chocolate and red/green colored sprinkles in the near future with these oreos! π

I see we have the same taste in breakfast, friend! I’m definitely doing a pumpkin spice version next week. Holidays make for fun treats!
Holy smokes those look amazing! And why on earth have I never heard of Reese’s Oreos?! I think I need to move to the States just for the food! π I will be there in a few weeks though, and now I know what to go look for at the store!

You need to try them, Stacey! They are life-changing. Have fun on your trip!
I just laughed out loud reading the chocolate shop that rhymes with “saliva” haha! My husband always buys the white chocolate covered oreos around Christmas time. But these look way better! Peanut butter and chocolate, what’s not to love!

I was kind of proud of that rhyme, Danielle. But yeah, why waste all that money on something that’s so easy to do on your own?
these look very cute! Oreos are delicious as such and dipping them in chocolate is just heavenly!

Haha yesss there are plenty of things I really shouldn’t spend money on, but during the moment seem like good ideas…these are such a wallet hack π They look yummy!

This is so simple, but sounds SO heavenly! I’m a huge fan of anything Reese’s – yum!

I must confess, I couldn’t sleep at night until they were all eaten. The kitchen kept calling, Rachel! π
Oh god I am just drooling over here.. I never thought oreos could taste any better but dipping them in chocolate is a killer idea Mir. I would recreate the recipe but I have no self control when it comes to chocolate or oreos and these would get devoured WAY too quickly…
